When colours fly, so do memories. And this Holi, it wasn’t just gulaal in the air, it was pure nostalgia straight from the Nick Jonas-Priyanka Chopra album.
Nick Jonas surprised fans on Holi 2026 by sharing an old picture with wife Priyanka Chopra from one of their earlier Holi celebrations.

The photo was bright, messy, and full of colour just how Holi should be. Posting it online, Nick wrote, “A little throwback to one of my favorite Holi memories. Happy Holi everyone! (Sic)”
Over the years, the Jonas-Chopra home has become a beautiful mix of cultures. From American holidays to Indian festivals, the couple celebrates both sides proudly. Their Holi posts have often gone viral.
But while the Holi mood was cheerful, there’s another layer to this love story, one that Priyanka recently opened up about.
Priyanka’s emotional memory of her father
In a recent chat with Mythical Kitchen, Priyanka spoke about her late father, Ashok Chopra.
Ashok Chopra passed away in 2013 after battling cancer. His death was a turning point in Priyanka’s life, something she has often described as deeply life-changing.
This time, she shared something very personal, she wishes her father had met Nick and their daughter, Malti Marie.
Priyanka didn’t hold back while talking about her husband. She said Nick has all the qualities her father would have wanted in her partner.
“Nick is exactly the kind of person my dad would have picked for me if he had a choice,” she revealed.
Music, she said, was her father’s first love. And that’s where fate seems to have played its part.
“You know, someone who’s a musician. My dad’s first love was music. He loved music. And I do really feel that my husband is a prodigy,” she added.
Priyanka also spoke about Nick’s work ethic. According to her, watching him in the studio is pure inspiration.
She said whenever she needs motivation, she goes to the studio just to see him create. She described how he gets “in the zone,” turning simple ideas into something beautiful.
And she believes her father would have admired that discipline and passion.
